Help Clean Up The Ashley Rakahuri River

The Ashley Rakahuri Rivercare Group and Waimakariri Youth Council have organised a river clean-up on the 24th of September. There will be a safety briefing at 9:30 am and the event will run from 10 am to 2 pm, followed by a BBQ.

The location is on the north bank of the Ashley Rakahuri River, follow High Street past the Ashley pub down to the river, just downstream from the railway bridge. There is sufficient parking.
